It's shark week on the Discovery Channel. So freaking awesome! I've been mesmerized, for real.
I have a healthy fear of sharks, but still am fascinated by these water dwelling creatures. I did learn one cool thing on the myth busters portion of shark week. A shark is more likely to attack if you are thrashing about. Best thing to do - play dead. Not that I get out to shark infested waters very often, but still, a good thing to know!
I watched it too! I love it when they have Shark week. I am so fascinated by them - as freakish as that is. I seriously would LOVE to be in one of those cages surrounded by a great white. What an adrenaline rush that would be!
ReplyDeleteOk our family loves shark week too but for awhile after we watch it they are a little more cautious for a while. Especially because there was a great white shark attack about two months ago about 5 miles south of us. Anyway good times. If you are ever in San Diego call me we can venture out into shark infested waters together:)
ReplyDeleteI don't know...with all of your world wide travels, I could see you and your siblings doing something like that! BTW, the boys were totally into Shark week, too! (That's including Pete!) :)
ReplyDeleteHey...one more thing...have Shannon invite me to her blog...I can't get into it anymore. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteI heart shark week. and your skinny body. lookin good gurl!
ReplyDeleteI love shark week too...so does my oldest. You are so beautiful. Congrats on the missing pounds!!
ReplyDeleteI am terrified of sharks. I can only go into the ocean waste deep for fear of the a great white swallowing me whole. But whenever any type of shark show is on I am glued to it.
ReplyDeleteI attribute my fear to seeing JAWS when I was five. Oddly enough, whenever JAWS is on TV I have to watch it because I usually am paralyzed with fear and can't change the channel.
