My personal fashion trend

Sure, my sisters make fun of me. Maybe others make fun of me... I don't know. Maybe no one notices, and that's fine too. I am a fan of cardigans. Yes, I am. You might say I'm even addicted to them.
True story... last year around this time I was about to go on a somewhat "blind" date, and the first thing my sister Caiti says is, "don't wear a cardigan, please!"
What?! What?! What the heck is that supposed to mean?? Turns out other little sister Shannon told her that I wear cardigans all the time. So, sue me! I like cardigans, ok! I admit I felt a little self-conscious for a few days wondering if people around me noticed like my sisters did, that I wore cardigans frequently. That self-consciousness soon passed, and I soon decided to embrace my love of the cardigan.
Friends, we all have issues with what we feel comfortable wearing, don't we? I work in a business/casual work environment, and I feel that a cardigan pulls an outfit together so nicely. Even outside of work, I just appreciate that they can "hide" certain parts of my figure that I don't want to show until I'm many pounds thinner, and plus, they are just plain comfy. Am I wrong to feel this way about a staple in my wardrobe? I think not.
So what if I look like Mr. Rogers. I dunna care! I like 'em, and I will continue wearing them until my dying day!

Take that Caiti & Shan!

Tell me about your wardrobe. Is there a particular item you have plenty of, and choose to wear day in and day out?

Erin! My cardigan sister! I am the self-proclaimed cardigan queen; I can't even remember how many I have, but I know I just bought a new one from Target (and I want the green one like the gray one in your picture). I see nothing wrong with them at all, and I kind of make it a point to wear them as an extra layer (taking me from Level 1 on the Conselle Style Scale to Level 3 www.conselle.com). Also, as a trained image consultant, I will tell you that if you like them, and they work with your personal style and your life role, rock the cardigans!

Now no one can say anything bad about them to you. ;)

Forgive me dear sister, for I have sinned. You are beautiful and every cardigan should be so honored for you to wear them. Next time I'm in town, I will take you cardigan shopping! And for you, dear erin, I wear my favorite cardigan tonight! Love you!

I wonder if there is a Cardigan Queens Anonymous blog?

I'm sure we are not alone!

I never noticed your fetish, maybe it's because they blended with all the other cardigans.
"Everybody's doing it."

Not sure what my clothing "thing" is. Perhaps my sisters could tell me.

Shannon tells me I have way too many black t-shirts. I don't see it...

That's the same reason that I am always wearing a hoodie! I have a whole closet full of just sweatshirts. My cardigan collection is growing as well.

I,too, love a cardigan. What about jeans? Should we say, "Hey, you wear jeans a lot. I'd like to see you wear a nice pair or slacks, or some trousers.

Uh, I just bought a shirt online and when it arrived, I realized that I own one almost exactly like it except with short sleeves. Ridiculous. Maybe I should embrace that. ha ha ha.
