Who in their life ever gets to see the launch of a space shuttle? Unless you live in Florida, you may never have the chance. I thought that was the case for me, but yesterday that rare window of opportunity opened up for me. From our resort, we had a perfect view of the launch - even though we were probably 30 miles away. I thought it was an amazing moment and just wanted to share.
I'm now back from my vacation/work trip to Orlando and am so tired! We left our hotel in the wee hours of the morning, and I am now about to fall over. Good night!

In fact, I did not. It wasn't THAT close. It was actually about 50 miles away, but felt so close. It was crazy!
