{Bummer}

Well friends, my Egypt trip didn't turn out as planned. My friend and I were going to be traveling on buddy passes, but flights were very full out of SLC. Not only that, but I also came down with something a few hours before I was to leave. Bummer. Ah well. This is the life of standy-by passengers. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't. I'm ok with it, because I know that I'll get to Egypt someday. Sooner than later!

So, here's to future trips be they stand-by or confirmed!

So, we were in line just two down from boarding the plane to Kaui'i. We were told that the flight had just oversold, and sorry, it was too late to retrieve our luggage. We were in San Fran, and all flights to St. George were booked. So we holed up in Boise at a friends house for a couple of days. When we arrived there, my son tapped me and said, "we tricked everyone, huh? They thought we would go to Hawaii, and we went to Idaho." Also, "I've been to Hawaii, like lot's of times mom, but I've NEVER been to Idaho!" I ABSOLUTELY LOVE non-reving, so many adventures.

Oh, wow! Yeah, non-reving definitely can make or break a trip. I once got stuck in Hawaii for a few days. Not so bad, but the thing is, there is no where to go, and we needed to get home. Crazy stuff. But, when trips work out, man, they are good!

I hope the something that you came down with was not the food from Harmons because that did a little number on me as well.

I am sorry that things didn't work out.
