I've been watching the gas prices fall the last few weeks, and truly, I have never felt such bliss as I did this morning when I passed Holiday Gas on Center Street and saw the the price fall from $2.17 to $1.99! Holy freaking moly, I am happy! I never thought (though I had hoped) it would get under the $2.00 mark.
Happy, happy, happy am I. I'm sure you all are too. Hooray for us!

The only thing that bugs me is that a MONTH ago I paid around $4 a gallon when I drove to New Mexico. ugh. But yay now! I can fill my car up for less than $50 again!
...for now... ;)
Yeah!!! Our gas is at about 2.39 which is so great for us. Just goes to show how criminal it was that it was ever got as high as it did.
Road trip any one?
So in September I was paying over $4.00 a gallon and now at the Harmons right by my house (that is know for having the "expensive" gas) has it for $1.91 a gallon!!! I feel like I got a $40.00 a week raise!!
Ya!! It was so weird cause I went and prepaid and I had to go in and get a refund cause I paid way too much!!
I just paid $1.84/gallon today at Smith's. (I had a 5 cent off coupon.) So ridiculously awesome!!
Is it sad that we're all so excited about a more normal price for gas? I saw it at 1.99 a gallon today too and I had to call everyone I knew!
Although I don't buy gas I am happy for you all! Though--I don't want to put a damper on the party--but, we do all know that when prices drop--not just gas--it means demand is falling and when demand falls it means spending falls and and when spending falls it means economies shrink--less jobs, less credit, less building, less growth, less progress...in Russia right now the crisis is REALLY happening... oh, and the gas prices here are not falling because the mafia runs everything =)
(E.C.C.--you can delete this if its too much of a downer...=((( )
$1.929 last night...
