District of Columbia, I love thee.

I'm in D.C. for the next few days for a Meeting Planner's Convention, and I'm happy. I love my country's capital. I love my country - period. Tomorrow is 9/11 as you know, and it's strange that I'm in one of the places where those horrid events took place all those years ago. It's still so surreal to me. I just have to say that I'm proud of my country, and proud to call myself an American.

God bless~

I know DC and New York aren't really that close together, but I always feel a little bummed when people make it all the way to the east coast and don't come to see us . . . :-( Miss and love you ercurr!

Erin, what a beautiful post. I feel the exact same way. I love this country and take great pride in being an American. I'm grateful my parents immigrated to the U.S.A. to provide me opportunities that no other country on Earth offers. God bless the United States of America!
